My parents were in town yesterday as my father had a meeting here..Normally during his business trips, I get to stay with them in the hotel of their choice since i’m their only child living in KL..I get the bed for myself (of course since my parents are sleeping together, hehe) plus its near to my office..All these while we have been staying in Mandarin Oriental but its such a waste since we weren’t utilising the free stay we get to use the hotel facilities provided..So a week before this business trip, my mum asked me whether I wanted to use the Jacuzzi in the hotel, since my resolution now is to start trying new things, I totally agreed..

I reached the hotel around 7.30pm as i had few things to settle..(Wasnt in the office for 3 days so u can imagine the pile of work I had on my desk)..Called the hotel club to check out the facilities they had and was actually pleased when I was told that they also have a sauna, steam room and gym..Regretted that I wasnt aware of this earlier..I could have fully utilised the facilities, heheh..Why, its free what..Quickly, did my prayers and headed off to the vitality club on the 3rd floor with my mother..She was totally into it too but she didnt have the courage to go alone..I didn’t mind coz its actually great when u get to spend some quality time with ur mother..The feeling is different, it kinda made us closer..

When we reached 3rd floor, went to the registration table and asked the guy there where the sauna room was..Like the malay saying ‘Rusa masuk kampung’ we went to the room..Everything was there..We looked around to see anyone who could give us the locker keys since we came down in our robes, so the lady there told us to get it from the guy at the registration table..We went back again and took the key..After taking off our robes and keeping it in the locker, headed to the sauna room..My mum and me decided to use the steam room instead of the sauna..Besides, there was a tv inside the steam room..Just to describe the steam room to anyone who hasn’t been in one, it was a medium sized room with seatings made out of wood (i think), then at the center was a metal box filled with coal..We spent like 20 mins in the room and decided to use the jacuzzi next..Went to one of the showers to wash our bodies a little and put on our swimming suit..

After we were done, we went to the jacuzzi..There was a cold one and a warm one..We decided to use the warm one..Stayed in there for about 20 mins and then took a dip in the cold one..It was 10 mins after nine when we were done..Had to hurry coz i wanted to catch the Bonuslink members day in Parkson KLCC..

Reached KLCC at 10..Luckily it is closing at 11.00pm, so got the chance to window shop..Spotted few interesting things..Like a new wallet for instance..Just to inform those shopping enthusiast out there, Parkson KLCC has a new section featuring the latest range of FOSSIL brand..They have the new collection of FOSSIL handbags and I immediately fell in love with them..But then again, since one of my resolutions is not to waste money on ‘unnecessary’ things, had to passed up the idea..So sad..After that, along with my parents, went out to have dinner and on the way there, stopped by at Chowkit to buy ‘petai’..heheh..Crazy huh..One of my favourite ‘ulam’..One reason ppl avoid eating ‘petai’ is because of the smell of their mouth after eating it, so to avoid having that problem, I only eat it when I go back to my hometown (my secret, don’t tell anyone), hihi..

We had dinner at Chop & Stick in Kampung Baru..I ordered black pepper steak and apple juice, mum had chicken chop and carrot milk juice, while my dad had spaghetti bolognaise and coffee..After dinner, went back to the hotel and upon the sight of the bed, changed into my sleeping pyjama’s and dozed off..Had a tiring day but an enjoyable one..Adding another item into ‘my first’ list, my first jacuzzi, hehehe..
