A lot has happened for the past 3 days..And today my body finally got a chance to relax..Let me tell u one by one, the days I’ve gone thru..On Friday, my division had an annual dinner which was held at The Lodge in Jln Sultan Ismail..The theme was beach wear or Hawaiian..I didnt actually know how to dress up like I do when going to the beach coz what I wud normally wear is my track bottom and a shirt, hehe..So I just wore something I felt would be acceptable as a beach wear..The party started at 6.30pm, first with registration and at 7.00pm, the real thing began..It was a shock coz the party started with a few ‘cik pon’ dancing the Hawaiian dance..My male colleague was so in awe looking at them and when it was nearly to an end, I informed him that they were actually ‘pondan’, he was extra shocked..haha..He didnt suspected it at all..Probably I shud have told him bout it at the end of the party but then again, didnt want to mislead him into believing that they were actually ladies..After the hawaiian dance, they came out again, this time doing what they call it as china doll dance..wuteva..They were all dressed so sexy and everything looked so real..But a lady knows another lady too well..haha..Dinner was served around 7.30pm, just in time for me to break fast..The food was delicious..We didnt know the price of the food but it was actually delicious..The place is also cozy enough for any of u who are interested to bring ur love ones..The decorations were simple but nice..While having our dinner we were entertained by songs played on the piano by a collegaue from trade dept and after dinner, they started off with the games..The games were quite interesting and everyone was cooperative enough to take part in them..I managed to get two tickets to the Cosmo Theme park..The tickets are valid till the end of this year and maybe I’d drop by it sometime..In all, the annual was a success and the committee in charge of it did really well in ensuring that the annual dinner for the corporate banking division was a success..

Saturday, one of my close friends finally got married..Nikah was done in the morning while in the evening, she had a wedding reception..There was also another wedding reception in Cyberview Lodge which I was also invited, however, since I had to go for my interview today, had to pass out on one of her special event…Thankfully, she understood that my interview today determines my future and she didnt want herself to be the reason for me not pursuing my dreams..She looked really gorgeous in her wedding dress and was really happy when she finally heard the Tok Iman announcing that she was married..Congratulations Normy & Konti, May both of u live happily ever after till the rest of your life and may both of you be blessed with good fortune for u to continue your own generation..

Well finally it comes down to my interview today..I was so nervous when I reached the interview location and in order to calm myself down, I went to talk to the other interviewees..They have actually divided us into two session..5 each where first session started at 8.00am while the second session started at 10.30am..The interview process started with an essay writing for about 30mins and after that, there was a discussion amongst the 5 candidates on a topic..Basically, they wanted to see how we interact with each other and whether we were able to talk in English and voice out our opinions..After 45 mins of the discussion session, we went out and were called in one by one for the individual interview..Since I was the youngest amongst them all (eventho everyone was born in 1979), I was the last in the list..Finally when it was my time, the interviewer asked me a few question about my current job and why I opted to become a teacher..I explained, bla, bla, bla and after the end of the session, I was commented that I smiled the whole time during the interview session and I actually suited the job I’m doing now..I just smiled as I already mentioned to them that I want to explore new challenges and see whether I’m tough enough to undertake them..I dont know whether the interviewer was praising me or whether he was condemning me but I take what he said as a compliment..Senyum itu satu sedekah..Thats all for now..Will be uploading my pics soon , so guys dont forget to give my yahoo photo’s a visit..Till then, Adios…

Last Saturday nite I went to watch Puetri Gunung Ledang at Istana Budaya with two of my girl friends..Girls Nite Out I mite say..My sister didnt join in the fun coz she already got to watch it twice..First with my uncle, his treat and second a free ticket from her friends and blimey me, it was worth it..She got to watch it at the RM150 seat I think..As for me, only watch it at the RM30 seat coz my friends had bought the tickets earlier so since I was gonna sit with them, I bought the RM30 seat..

Even tho it was quite far, like two levels up, but still it was worth it..I would rate the play 8/10..Tiara’s voice was good for a not so professional singer..Even tho I’m not a big fan of her but she did perform her role well..Despite the complaints I’ve been hearing from people that her singing wasnt that good, but I thot that nite she did well..Loud and clear..Pitching was good..hehe..Now I’m becoming an AF commentator, haha..But seriously, she did good..I applaud her for that..

While my comments for my sole purpose to watch PGL, Stephen Hughes Rahman..He was superb..He’s voice and singing, well done..Tho there were few times when I caught him sounding a bit funny (coz he cant pronounce the S word correctly), I forgive him for his good looks..Wow, he’s the type of guy every woman dreams about, the good looks, tall and masculine, OMG, so drop dead gorgeous..But yeah, every woman knows, only the lucky ‘ONE’ will succeed, haha..But then again, it was worth hearing his voice..I think, without the mike attached to him, I could still hear his voice, two levels up..Powerful..

So guys, if u havent got the chance to catch PGL, better buy ur tickets soon as its gonna end this 19th of August..PGL is about true love that didnt have a happy ending..And the songs on the other hand wasnt disappointing at all..They were all so lovely and poetic..Relaxing to the ears..Brings back memories….Thot of buying the CD but it was so expensive..RM35..haha..Will find other alternatives to listen to the song..Till I write again..Doing another interesting thing, I hope..

If any of u cud recall my previous post in June dated June 8 title "Test to the next level", then u guys shud have an idea on what I’m taking about..After a long wait, exactly 2 months, finally the results were out..I made it to the next level..I’m qualified to go thru for the interview to become a teacher..At first, I didnt have any hopes for it coz like I said in my post and to all my friends, I did a horrible job..I didnt get to finish the Math Q’s..It was so tough..Luck was on my said coz when I went to the website today and entered my IC No, I was congratulated for making it for the interview..

Mentioned it to a few friends and when I told my mother bout it, she was so happy..Did I mention to u that if I actually make it, I’d be posted in Kuantan..Hopefully..And thats the reason why she was so happy..One of her daughters is finally coming back home..Thats why she’s so excited..I’m blessed by my mother’s prayers…I guess Allah has made His plans for me…Tho I did quite bad, I still made it to the next level..I’m not sure how the selection was done but I’m grateful coz there’s still a chance for me to pursue it..May Allah lead me the way that He feels best for me..If this was what I am supposed to be doing, He would make it easy for me all the way til the end..InsyaAllah..I’m just happy that with the remaining duration of my life (almost 14 years not permanently living with my parents), some of it I could spend with my family..Terima Kasih Mak Ti sebab sentiasa doakan yang terbaik untuk akak..So my friends, wish me all the best and that I make it to become a teacher, a profession I highly respect..

Since it first started, around two years back as I could recall, I really wanted to participate in the fun…But due to the lack of time and other commitments, I had never got that chance until yesterday..When I first heard that Starlight Cinema was back in town, I didnt miss the chance to browse thru the movie schedule..Coincidently, I was lucky that there was a ladies nite promo where when a lady purchases a ticket, she can bring along another lady friend for FREE..So, I brought a ticket to watch Failure To Launch and my sister was kind enough to accompany me..Thanks Sis..Really appreciate it and thanks for always being there for me..

Lucky for me too, yesterday my office was allowed to wear casual attire since our division is undergoing renovation and we need to pack our stuff so that the movers could move our things to our new section..Its still in the same office, only in a different section..Hope things are going to be much better with the shift..We’re gonna get new carpets and new environment coz after the shift, Corp 4 till Corp 7 would be located in the same section..This would make it easier for office boys to deliver the parcels..B4 this all the teams were jumbled up together..Corp 6 beside corp 4, corp 7 beside corp 1..It was a mess..And explaining to each and everyone of the delivery boys was also a waste of time..haha..

Back to the Starlight story, since it was packing day, I wore jeans to work which was much more comfortable while watching the movie..When we arrived, the place wasnt actually full, probably because it was a weekday and not many ppl had the time to rush to Sentul Park to participate in it..My sis and me wandered around Sentul Park b4 we entered the Starlight compound around 7.30..By that time, few ppl had marked their spots..Some sitting on ‘tikar getah’ (like us), old newspapers, a couple brought along bean bags (Bestnya), a couple sat on the sun protection shield (hehe) and a couple even sat on the mat pregnant woman use in their lamaze class and yes the lady was pregnant, haha..I saw ppl taking pictures, some eating the food they brought along (McD’s & KFC), chit chatting happily, some even brought a whole cake..Maybe it was one of the friends b’day..But in all, it was so much fun looking at them..

How I realise that I dont have that kind of friendship..The buddy2 ones..Friends that I could share all my interest with..Friends that could go along with any plans I made..Yeah, ppl change but I wonder how some relationship could last whatever obstacles that come in their way..It doesnt have to be a big group, maybe around two or 4 or 6 ppl..It shud be even coz we dont wanna make one of them feel left out..Probably its not the time yet..The time will come when I would meet a group of friends that have the same interest that I have, willing to do all the crazy things that I like to do..Willing to lend an ear whenever I feel so pissed off with someone or so pleased with someone…That time will come, I hope..Maybe not now but I hope that friendship would come my way, even for a short period..

Failure To Launch was an interesting movie..Matthew McConaughey was so damn handsome..I kinda like his face..hehe..One of the male actor I love..Cute..And SJP was so damn gorgeous..Her petiteness, her hair..All so pretty and all so untrue..I dont think such a thing happens for real..Only in the movies..For those of u who havent got the chance to watch it, please do..Its wicked..Tricky but sweet..

Cant wait for my next visit there..I was lucky enough to get complimentary tickets and am allowed to bring along three friends to enjoy Starlight Cinema again..Who will it be? Just wait and see..hehe..Will tell u more once I’ve been there..This time with a larger group of ppl..Catcha l8r peeps..If u havent been to Starlight cinema, dont miss the chance to catch it..It a good place to hang around with ur friends, watch the movie of ur choice and just chill..Its as if ur watching DVD at home wif friends only now its out in the open, under the stars..Bring whatever u want..Pillows, bean bags, food, bags and bags of it..But no chairs allowed considering the circumstances..One bad thing is that there are mosquitoes there since its in the open but they have ‘ubat nyamuk’ too and u can also bring socks too to avoid being bitten (but I wasnt bitten at all yesterday)haha..Best!..Best sgt..
